Position: Sr. Software Engineering Team Lead

Salary Range: 100,000 BDT – 150,000 BDT+

Office Time: Sunday-Thursday

Audacity IT Solutions is seeking a 01 (One) highly-skilled, experienced, and motivated Senior Software Engineering Team Lead to join our growing team in Dhaka.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced software engineer with strong leadership qualities, capable of guiding a team through the development lifecycle of Web applications.

Minimum Experience: 5+ years of professional engineering experience & 2+ years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership
  • Lead and inspire a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Project Leadership
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex web applications.
  • Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Technical Leadership
  • Solve technical challenges and provide hands-on guidance to the web development team.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements, ensuring the adoption of best practices and cutting-edge technologies.
• Solving Problems
  • Identify and resolve technical issues proactively, ensuring the timely delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and address challenges as they arise.
• Collaboration (with cross-functional team)
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, QA engineers, and product managers, to ensure seamless collaboration and integration of components.
  • Leading the collaborative effort in finding the right talent for the Engineering team.
• Enhancing Engineering Culture
  • Conduct regular code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to coding standards.
  • Implement and enforce best practices related to software development and deployment.
  • Practicing Test Driven Development (Unit testing, Integration testing, and Other testing) to thoroughly test out software design and implementation.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer & Team Lead in a web development environment.
• Strong proficiency in web technologies, including but not limited to JS and PHP with RDBMS and NoSQL.
• Hands-on experience in the integration and implementation of cloud services, such as AWS, is required.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

Educational Requirements:  B.Sc/M.Sc in Computer Science & Engineering from any reputed University.
