Job position:** Senior WordPress Developer

**Responsibilities:**

Collaborate with the lead developer to assist in project execution and deliver high-quality WordPress and Shopify solutions.
Dedicate 20-40% of your time to actively contribute to the project, which may involve tasks such as theme development, plugin customization, and website optimization.
Manage and prioritize day-to-day web development tasks related to client team’s web and e-commerce ecosystem, including tasks on WPEngine, Pantheon, or Shopify.
Utilize your proficiency in WordPress (PHP) to maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot WordPress websites.
Leverage your knowledge of Shopify to work on Shopify-based projects, including theme customization, app integration, and store setup.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to WordPress and Shopify, ensuring website stability and performance.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and content creators, to deliver web development solutions that align with project goals.

**Qualifications:**

Proven experience in web development, with a focus on WordPress (PHP) and ideally Shopify.
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Familiarity with web development tools and technologies, including version control (Git) and code editors.
Adobe suite would be an asset to have
Knowledge of CI/CD is a nice to have
Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Prior experience working with content management systems and e-commerce platforms (WordPress and Shopify).
Knowledge of web performance optimization and SEO best practices.
Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and tools as needed.
