Job Title: Senior Front-End Developer (React Specialized)

We are looking to add an experienced Front-End Developer to our team. We are an innovative and growing SME, in search of the right candidate who recognizes what it takes to contribute and commit to an organization’s success.

As a Senior Front-End Developer specializing in React, you will be responsible for creating sophisticated user interfaces and engaging user experiences using React. Have the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements. A knack for creativity, benchmarking and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

· Sound understanding and ability to develop new user-facing features using React.js and its core principles.

· Build reusable components for future use.

· Understanding and implementing state management libraries such as Redux, Context API, Python for REST API development with Django to manage the state across large applications.

· Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.

· Optimize components for maximum performance across a wide range of web-capable devices and browsers.

· Strong foundation in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and a solid understanding of web application development principles.

· Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.

· Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support user interface concepts.

· Testing and debugging code using tools like Jest or Enzyme.

· Fluent in code versioning tools, such as Git.

· Coordinate with backend developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.

· Participate in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, keeping up-to-date with industry developments and new trends.

· Learning and testing new and upcoming features in React like Concurrent Mode, Suspense, etc.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

· 5+ years of industry experience in front-end development using React. Work experience with international projects will be highly regarded.

· Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.

· Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).

· Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript.

· Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js).

· Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus.

· Experience with RESTful APIs.

· Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.

· Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.

· Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
