What we are looking for

We are looking for a Motion Graphics Designer/Filmmaker to join the brand team at LasertTreat. The ideal candidate should be a skilled Motion Graphics Designer capable of planning and developing 2D animations, kinetic typography and films. Candidates skilled in filmmaking and cinematography along with animation skills are preferred.

Key responsibilities

● Study briefs and determine requirements

● Conceptualize and create storyboards based on requirements

● Prepare and present concepts using storyboard and key visuals

● Work with copywriters and other team members to produce final video/animation

● Develop a range of motion work from 2D animation for social media to videos and kinetic typography

● Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each video/animation

● Ensure final outcome is visually appealing and on-brand

Core Qualifications

● Prior experience with and a strong portfolio of Motion Graphics and video work

● Expert-level knowledge of common motion design software

● Good understanding of lighting and studio setup

● A desire to learn new techniques and technology to advance your craft

● Superb visual and conceptual skills to solve problems and create novel solutions

● Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines

● A keen eye for aesthetics and details

● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

● Work well as part of a team with a range of people

Desired experience

● At least 3 years of experience as a Motion Designer/Filmmaker within an agency or Marketing

team

● Demonstrated experience in working efficiently within a team to create content for social

media and digital platforms
