Job Title: Mid-Level Node.js Developer

Salary: BDT  30k -50k

Experience: 1+ years of professional experience in Node.js development

The Role

As a Mid-Level Node.js Developer, you will be part of our dynamic development team, contributing to the building and maintaining of our backend services. You will collaborate closely with front-end developers and product managers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and consistent web applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Implementation of security and data protection.
• Integration of data storage solutions, which may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional experience in Node.js development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Understanding of Node.js and frameworks available for it (such as Express, StrongLoop, etc.).
• Good understanding of server-side templating languages.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5 and CSS3.
• Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, MongoDB, and/or PostgreSQL.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
