We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to join our growing Ed-Tech company. The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by leading a team of sales professionals and executing sales strategies to promote our educational products and services. Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to drive revenue growth.
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and coaching to improve sales effectiveness.
- Sales Strategy:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and refine the company’s sales strategy.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform sales approaches.
- Create and execute sales plans, including setting targets, quotas, and KPIs.
- Business Development:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and market segments.
- Develop and nurture long-term partnerships with educational institutions and organizations.
- Sales Operations:
- Oversee the sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
- Manage the sales pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Sales Training and Development:
- Provide ongoing training and development for the sales team to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement improvement plans as needed.
- Sales Analytics:
- Analyze sales data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales processes.
- Prepare and present sales reports and insights to the senior management team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of proven experience in sales management, preferably in the ed-tech industry.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and develop data-driven strategies.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
