**Job Title:** Manager, Finance & Accounts

**Job Brief:** MedEasy is  looking for an Accounting Manager to supervise, track, and evaluate day-to-day activities. Accounting Manager responsibilities include establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting information. We are also looking for someone to work closely with our financial management team.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Financial Planning and Analysis:**

● Develop and implement financial strategies, forecasts, and budgets to support the company’s short-term and long-term goals.

● Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to the executive team for informed decision-making.

● Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to ensure the company’s financial health and sustainability.

**Financial Reporting and Compliance:**

● Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

● Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

● Coordinate and liaise with external auditors for annual financial audits.

**Accounting Management:**

● Supervise the accounting team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.

● Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and other accounting processes.

● Maintain a robust system of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.

**Cash Management and Treasury:**

● Manage cash flow, forecasting, and working capital to optimize liquidity.

● Evaluate investment opportunities and maintain banking relationships.

● Implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial risks.

**Tax and Compliance:**

● Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels.

● Coordinate tax planning and strategy, including managing tax returns and payments.

● Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and advise on their impact.

**Team Leadership:**

● Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team.

● Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented culture within the department.

Financial Systems and Technology:

● Evaluate, implement, and manage financial systems and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

● Recommend and oversee improvements in financial technology and processes.

**Qualifications:**

● Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

● Minimum 2 to 5 years of progressively responsible experience in finance and accounting roles.

● Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.

● Proficiency in financial software and tools, including Excel and accounting software.

● Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

● Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

● Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

● Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.

**Compensation & Other Benefits:**

● Salary: 40,000-50,000

● Salary Review: Yearly
