Position: Senior Manager/Manager Business Intelligence

Department: Marketing

Experience:  3 years of proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst

Working Days: Sunday – Thursday (10 am – 6 pm)

Location: Banani, Dhaka

Key Responsibility Areas:

Analytics to drive business decision-making-

• Develop, interpret, and implement data analyses with the objective of understanding trends, consumers, or product performance • Find business opportunities through research • Provide sector and competitor benchmarking, including pricing analysis • Mine and analyze large datasets, draw valid inferences, and present them successfully to management • Perform ad-hoc analyses and data queries, specifically those that will lead to an increase in revenue, productivity, or patient retention • Monitor and analyze results of specific activities, campaigns, or similar. Management reporting- • Prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics and other reporting tools • Prepare, analyze, and summarize various weekly, monthly, and periodic [operational] results, creating reports, instructions, and actionable insights that add value to the business. • Evaluate key performance indicators, provide ongoing reports, and recommend business plan updates and next steps. • Act as a liaison between marketing and the broader management team, analyzing and interpreting data involving company procedures, policies, and workflows Internal data / BI process improvement- • Perform data profiling and understand anomalies • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities Interface with BI provider and key user of our BI tool- • Act as point of contact with our BI provider • Implement new data analysis methodologies • Create data dashboards, graphs, and visualizations

Qualification:

BS in Mathematics/ Economics/ Computer Science/ Information Management

Experience:

At least 3 years of proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst

Technical Skills/Knowledge:

● Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques. Familiarity with cohort analysis and other methods is essential ● Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Tableau, Google Data Studio, etc.), databases (SQL, etc.), programming (XML, JavaScript, Python, or ETL frameworks) ● Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.) ● Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy ● Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings
