An upcoming Fin-Tech enterprise headquartered in Singapore is on the lookout for a dynamic Junior UI/UX Designer to join their innovative team. As a Junior UI/UX Developer in the Technology Department, you will be an integral part of the dynamic team responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces. This role is ideal for a creative and detail-oriented individual with a passion for user-centered design. The Junior UI/UX Developer will work closely with senior members of the UI/UX team to contribute to the design and enhancement of the digital products, ensuring an optimal user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

UI/UX Design:

  • Collaborate with senior UI/UX developers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications.
  • Assist in developing wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs based on user requirements and feedback.

User Research:

  • Participate in user research activities to understand user needs, preferences, and behaviors.
  • Contribute to the analysis of user feedback and incorporate findings into design improvements.

Interaction Design:

  • Work on the development of interactive design concepts, including navigation models, user flows, and information architecture.
  • Ensure consistency in design elements and interactions across different platforms.

Prototyping:

  • Assist in the creation of interactive prototypes to demonstrate the functionality and flow of the user interface.
  • Iterate on prototypes based on feedback from stakeholders and usability testing.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to ensure alignment between design and development efforts.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to discussions on design decisions.

UI/UX Trends:

  • Stay informed about current UI/UX design trends, industry standards, and emerging technologies.
  • Apply knowledge to continually enhance the design of digital products.

Documentation:

  • Create and maintain design documentation, including style guides, design specifications, and asset libraries.

Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge and experience (1-2 years) in UI/UX design, with a portfolio showcasing design projects and processes.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end development concepts.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to creating visually appealing and user-centric designs.
