Job Title: Junior Accountant

Salary: 12k-15k (Depending on the experience)

Location: 5 Moulvi Bazar, Dhaka

Experience: 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related field

Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and driven Junior Accountant to join our team. The

ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related field, with a strong

understanding of financial principles and practices. The Junior Accountant will assist in various

accounting tasks, including but not limited to bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting,

and assisting with audits.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

2. Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.

3. Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.

4. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

5. Support the budgeting and forecasting process by providing accurate financial data.

6. Assist with audit preparations and provide necessary documentation and support.

7. Help ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

8. Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and issues.

9. Contribute to process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the accounting function.

10. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in accounting.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
