JOB DESCRIPTION

Business Development Executive will play a pivotal role in expanding our reach and impact within the education industry. Your primary focus will be to identify opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth through various channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitors in the education technology space.
    • Analyze customer needs and preferences to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Lead Generation and Prospecting:
    • Identify and target potential clients, partners, and institutions for collaboration.
    • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads through cold-calling, networking, and online research.
  • Partnership Development:
    • Cultivate and nurture strategic partnerships with schools, colleges, universities, and other educational organizations.
    • Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements that align with the company’s objectives.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring client satisfaction.
    • Provide excellent customer support and address inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth:
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and quotas.
    • Present and demonstrate our EdTech solutions to potential clients effectively.
    • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals.
  • Product Knowledge:
    • Stay updated on the company’s products and services to effectively communicate their value to clients and partners.
    • Gather feedback from clients and relay it to the product development team for continuous improvement.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, including lead generation, sales calls, and outcomes.
    • Generate regular reports to track sales performance and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with the marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure alignment of efforts and consistent messaging.
  • Industry Events and Networking:
    • Attend relevant industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build a professional network and promote the company’s offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably in the EdTech sector.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet targets.
