Turtle Venture Studio is proud to announce the launch of its cohorts designed to provide comprehensive support to carefully selected early-stage startups, empowering them to build exceptional products, offering pre-seed funding, founder mentorship, facilitating demonstrations in Singapore to attract international investors and so forth. We acknowledge that many Bangladeshi startups lack the essential resources required to nurture their vision, such as funding, product development guidance, and effective fundraising strategies, particularly in their early stages. As such, we are committed to providing startups with the support they need to bring their vision to fruition and enable their expansion into the global marketplace.

Responsibilities:

● Exhibit exceptional leadership abilities throughout all stages of the Turtle Venture Studio and venture studio portfolio’s business model, encompassing innovation, product development, incubation, and commercialization.

● Collaborating with founders and their teams to develop product development guidelines, create and manage the product backlog, prioritize product features, conduct A/B testing, and perform other related tasks.

● Thorough understanding and experience in developing Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) and formulating corresponding Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies.

● Explore and analyze markets and trends in the industry

● Establish key performance indicators for venture outcomes while also defining the business model and case for new ventures, products, and services

● A candidate with a profound understanding of the fundraising process and a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with founders to develop and implement all the essential “investment readiness” services required to prepare a startup for investment

● Develop essential founder grooming materials and conduct regular sessions as necessary

● Size the existing customer market, as well as identify trends and relative positioning

● Develop the economic model, business process design, and business plan for new ventures, products, and services

● Assess internal capabilities and capacities to develop a sourcing strategy

● Create the framing report (an overview and explanation of the project scope, objective, and hypothesis) for new initiatives

● Identify required partners for regulatory requirements or support needs

● Contribute to the development of thought leadership across a range of emerging business, technology, and design topics

Qualifications:

● 1-2 years of experience with strategy development, business planning, and startups, as well as quantitative and economic modeling

● Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in (digital) product operations, product management, or product development.

● A fundamental to intermediate level of technological knowledge related to digital product development is essential, including hosting, security, UI/UX, programming basics, agile methodology, and Scrum.

● Background in product prototyping and testing is a plus

● Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

● Master’s degree (postgraduate, MBA, or equivalent experience) preferred

● Some experience in a high-pressure start-up environment with exposure to multidisciplinary teams and/or involvement with a top-tier consulting firm

● You are an expert in bringing concepts to life succinctly and appreciate aesthetics and good design

● You enjoy and respect the importance of being a part of a small tight-knit and diverse team but you equally thrive when working independently and having your own projects

● You manage well in times of growth, change, and ambiguity in a fast-growing environment

● Entrepreneurial mindset, self-motivated and accountability combined with strong sense of teamwork

● Proficiency in both fluent English and native Bengali is required.
