Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer
Salary: BDT 120,000 – 150,000 (Can be more based on experience and skillset)
Job Type: Full-time & Remote (Dhaka-based candidates will get high preference)
Office Time: 9 AM – 6 PM (Sun – Thurs)

A Malaysian fintech company MobyPay (https://www.moby.my) is looking for Senior DevOps Engineer who have at least 3 years of working experience as DevOps Engineer.
Description:
Our tech team seeks a highly skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to help manage and optimize our IT infrastructure and automation processes. Predominantly working with GitHub and AWS Cloud Services, you will play a crucial role in designing, deploying, monitoring, and scaling cloud-based systems. By joining our dynamic and supportive team, you will directly contribute to driving successful releases using agile methodologies and strengthening our organization’s overall resilience and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design and implementation of DevOps strategies, policies, and best practices to streamline CI/CD pipelines, reduce time-to-market, and minimize operational overhead.
- Assist in managing and enhancing production environments on AWS.
- Support the achievement of SLAs, uptime requirements, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
- Use GitHub Actions to automate repetitive tasks, monitor system health, identify bottlenecks, and suggest ways to scale horizontally andvertically based on demand patterns.
- Help deploy and configure AWS resources using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) such as terraform and Kubernetes.
- Craft custom dashboards, alerts, and notifications using AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, or Prometheus to track key metrics and analyze logs.
- Participate in periodic audits and vulnerability assessments, protecting against cyber threats, and complying with regulatoryrequirements like SOC 2, ISO 27001, or PCI-DSS.
- Advocate cost optimization initiatives, reserved instance purchases, smart spot instance usage, auto-scaling policies, and effective tagging conventions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive organizational culture focused on transparency, accountability, risk mitigation, incident response readiness, blameless post-mortems, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Substantial experience (at least 3 years) in DevOps roles supporting enterprise applications deployed on AWS.
- Thorough knowledge of scripting languages such as (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ruby, Go) and AWS SDKs, and CLIs.
- Sound background in Linux, TCP/IP, load balancers, proxy servers, firewalls, reverse proxies, CDNs, WAFs, and edge routers.
- Proficient with container runtimes, image registries (ECR), and Elastic Container Service (ECS) or Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).
- Experience with observability tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack) and automated backup & restore solutions (AWS Backup, AWS StorageGateway).
- Experience with Logs and Mertics collections tools like FluentBit and Prometheus.
- Track record of contributing to large-scale transformation projects involving microservices, serverless computing, message queues, and distributed tracing frameworks.
- Outstanding communication skills, ability to explain complex ideas clearly, and engage with diverse audiences.
