We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to join our growing Ed-Tech company. The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by leading a team of sales professionals and executing sales strategies to promote our educational products and services. If you have a passion for education and a proven track record in sales leadership, this role is perfect for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets.
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to drive revenue growth.
    • Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and coaching to improve sales effectiveness.
  • Sales Strategy:
    • Collaborate with senior management to develop and refine the company’s sales strategy.
    • Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform sales approaches.
    • Create and execute sales plans, including setting targets, quotas, and KPIs.
  • Business Development:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and market segments.
    • Develop and nurture long-term partnerships with educational institutions and organizations.
  • Sales Operations:
    • Oversee the sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
    • Manage the sales pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Sales Training and Development:
    • Provide ongoing training and development for the sales team to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement improvement plans as needed.
  • Sales Analytics:
    • Analyze sales data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales processes.
    • Prepare and present sales reports and insights to the senior management team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of proven experience in sales management, preferably in the ed-tech industry.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and develop data-driven strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
