Job Title: Junior DevOps Engineer

Salary: Negotiable

Experience: Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a minimum of 1 year experience

Location: Praava Health, Plot 9 Road No. 17, Dhaka 1212

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, aws, azure and infrastructure. This position requires collaboration with development, operations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.

Key Responsibility Areas:

• Server deployment and database creation/migration for development, test, release, and support processes for DevOps operation
• Oversee external interfaces and stakeholders, such as emails, Freshdesk, Metabase, and so forth
• Implement various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
• Plan the team’s activities, composition, and participation in project management tasks
• Possess the necessary technical know-how to examine, confirm, and validate the software code created for the project.
• Troubleshoot techniques and fix the code bugs
• Check the processes for compliance throughout their whole lifecycle, update or develop new ones for improvement, reduce waste, and maximize business expenses.
• Identify and deploy cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
• Communicate and coordinate among team members and stakeholders
• Select and deploy appropriate CI/CD tools

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science

Experience:

• Proven experience in the role of a DevOps Engineer with a minimum of 1 years of experience
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Technical Skills/Knowledge:

• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Local) and virtualization technologies
• Knowledge of container orchestration tools (e.g.,Docker, Kubernetes) and containerization concepts
• Understanding of infrastructure and application monitoring tools
• Security: Familiarity with security best practices in a DevOps environment

• Must have good knowledge of object-oriented software development
• Must have strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
• Must have very strong analysis and synthesis skills
• Must be able to learn new technologies, tools, and techniques quickly and with minimal supervision

• Must be proactive and able to execute tasks efficiently

Interpersonal Skills
